ANTI-RESOLUTION
I didn’t set out to make any New Year resolutions this year, and I believe it’s the first time I’ve not.
LIFE JOKES
What brought me back and literally saved me in so many ways, was finally coming back to my roots.
THE TENT COMMMANDMENTS
Port wine in banged up camp cups.
Cheers.
A WEEKEND OF SUN-KISSED SKIN
Tracing star-lit constellations. Whiskey neat. Firelight glow.
OFFERINGS TO THE SLEEPING GIANT
We saluted it’s departure and the twilight drew dark at our backs. Yeah, it was good.
I LOVE MY MASCARA
There is beauty in healthy doses of dirt, sweat and a whole lotta sunshine
DUSTY SIDEKICKS
We hid ourselves deep in fern beds with sunlight dappling through overhead, as we weaved lupine and fireweed into promises of friendship.
ON BEING ARTFUL

NOSTALGIA HITS HARD IN THE FONDEST OF MEMORIES
Where there was once a space of being strangers because of time and distance, now we have become bonded.
NATURE IS THE BEST CLOAK FOR PRIVACY
I can almost guarantee you this would be the best night of sleep you would ever have.
THE SCRAPPIEST CAT I KNOW
I remember how loud and deep she purred in my arms after we found her injured outside our door early that morning. It was our bonding moment.
OLD, WHICH IS ABOUT TO BECOME NEW AGAIN
I see old and unwanted jewelry that had belonged to others but was traded in for scrap value on credit towards new. Single earrings, broken clasps. Maybe promises, and maybe heartaches too.
A WILDFLOWER BORN OF THE ALPINE HEAVENS
The Showy Sky Pilot bloom is behind the inspiration for the release of my Spring collection this year graciously named Primavera, meaning Spring or first bloom.
X MARKS THE SPOT
Their rings were zippered deep behind Gore-tex pockets and shaking, wind-chapped hands clutched wrinkled notebook paper with penned promises attached to their hearts.
EXPERIENCE, OR LACK OF, IS ALWAYS THE GREATEST TEACHER
I had encountered a few bears and happily dodged a few afternoon rain showers. An impressive monsoonal weather pattern had been hitting the Sierra Nevada and I walked right into it that evening right at 9,800ft.
