Hand-built cuff bracelet made of reclaimed sterling silver. This cuff has been designed so the opening sits at the top of the wrist. Thanks for being here and taking a look!
Featured stones: Rainforest Japser and Prehnite.
Two lengths of of thick, round wire stock have been soldered together to create the body of the cuff. Fully backed and enclosed stone settings. This cuff has been given a brushed texture and finished with steel wool for a bit of shine. A medium, waxed patina has been applied for contrast. My Maker's Mark and purity stamp complete the underside. Weighty and solid. Hammer hardened to retain shape. Always handmade and made to last.
Measure: Jasper setting, 1-1/8" x 3/4". Prehnite, 7/8" x 5/8".
Sizing: This cuff is sized to fit on the smaller side. The total inside circumference is 6-1/8" which includes a 7/8" wrist opening. Cuff band is 1/4" wide.
*Cuffs should be worn with a snugger fit than a bangle and should not be able to twist around your wrist when in place. A snug fit will help keep the cuff ends from catching and pulling open. Also, manipulating the cuff ends "open and closed" will cause weakness in the structure of your cuff over time, and ultimately break. Once you receive your cuff you will be able to adjust it slightly for your personal wrist anatomy, but then that should be it!
Shipping: Please expect shipping within one week of your purchase.
The Jewelry of Broken Pine: The items I make are one-of-a-kind pieces of reclaimed precious metals. There are no templates or molds used in any part of my fabrication process. There are inconsistencies and natural character that will make every piece of jewelry truly unique for you, and should be appreciated and expected. I forge, hammer, saw, solder, tweak, twist, stamp, texture and polish everything by hand. Please be sure of your jewelry preferences and sizes before purchasing. Measurements and sizes are very detailed. Please refer to the Policy & Resources section for the finer details. Your purchase constitutes agreement of my shop policies.
*Reclaimed metals: all precious metals used have already served a purpose in a previous life, and that metal has been purely recaptured to be used again to create new. No metal has been freshly mined to create your jewelry.
