Hand-built cuff bracelet made of reclaimed sterling silver with solid 14k gold accent.
Featured stone: Whitewater Turquoise (Mexico)
Two sturdy lengths of hardened, round wire stock make up the body of the cuff - one hammered and one smooth coming together in a taper at the ends. The turquoise charm has free movement, and a chunky 14k solid, yellow gold button accents the flip side of the charm. Nice and simple details. Comfortable and easy to wear. This cuff will retain its shape well.
This cuff has been given a lightly brushed texture and finished with steel wool for a bit of shine. A medium, waxed patina has been applied for contrast. Built to last.
Measure: Cuff measures 3/8" across its widest spread.
Sizing: Fits a size 6" wrist (which includes a 1" wrist opening).
*Cuffs should be worn with a snugger fit than a bangle and should not be able to twist around your wrist when in place. A snug fit will help keep the cuff ends from catching and pulling open. Also, manipulating the cuff ends "open and closed" will cause weakness in the structure of your cuff over time, and ultimately break. Once you receive your cuff you will be able to adjust it slightly for your personal wrist anatomy, but then that should be it!
Shipping: Please expect shipping within one week of your purchase.
The Jewelry of Broken Pine: The items I make are one-of-a-kind pieces of reclaimed precious metals. There are no templates or molds used in any part of my fabrication process. There are inconsistencies and natural character that will make every piece of jewelry truly unique for you, and should be appreciated and expected. I forge, hammer, saw, solder, tweak, twist, stamp, texture and polish everything by hand. Please be sure of your jewelry preferences and sizes before purchasing. Measurements and sizes are very detailed. Please refer to the Policy & Resources section for the finer details. Your purchase constitutes agreement of my shop policies.
*Reclaimed metals: all precious metals used have already served a purpose in a previous life, and that metal has been purely recaptured to be used again to create new. No metal has been freshly mined to create your jewelry.
